I am Tequilameba alegris, a one-of-a-kind amoeba species! I sport a big mustache and wear a wide-brimmed hat. My standout feature? A super organelle—a specialized vacuole filled with tequila! Whenever I feel like it, I release the tequila into my cytoplasm, which instantly makes me cheerful (hence my name, Tequilameba alegris). I must admit, though, I can be a bit virulent: I tend to cause headaches, slight disorientation, blurred vision, and nausea. But don’t worry, those effects are only temporary!
